Provision of advice for the State of the Countryside Report 2007
A large team of researchers from the CCRI provided input to the State of the Countryside Report 2007 for the Commission for Rural Communities (CRC). John Powell, Paul Courtney and James Kirwan, with support from Stephen Owen, Malcolm Moseley and Brian Ilbery, provided advice during the development and writing of the social, economic and environmental chapters of the report.
Over a period of several months the team worked closely with members of the CRC providing input, support and commentary on the quality of the evidence being utilised, interpretation of data, and development of the report. The team also wrote the Land and Environment chapter of the report.
