Aimee’s PhD will assess whether collaborative working at a landscape-scale in a Countryside Stewardship Faciliation Fund (CSFF) group has a greater influence on farmers’ pro-environmental behaviour than working in individual agri-environment schemes. She will be exploring the landscape constructions of agri-environment scheme designers, farmers and other land managers and evaluating the extent to which CSFF creates cultural and social capital amongst members. The project is in collaboration with Natural England.
Her primary supervisor is Jane Mills and her secondary supervisor is Peter Gaskell, both from the CCRI.
Aimee is a member of the Council (Board of Trustees) of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) as the elected Chair of the RGS-IBG Postgraduate Forum for the period 2020-2021. She is also the current Postgraduate Representative of the Rural Geography Research Group of the RGS-IBG.
