Exmoor National Park

CCRI Director, Professor Janet Dwyer, is speaking at the National Park Societies conference, which is taking place on Dartmoor between 4th – 6th October.

Each year, the National Park Societies hold a conference to explore a range of issues with both local and national implications for our National Parks. This year’s conference is hosted by the Dartmoor Preservation Association and through a strong range of speakers, including Janet, will cover the following topics:

  • Valuing Natural and Cultural Capital in our National Parks
  • Sustainable tourism
  • Conservation and farming

The delegates will have the opportunity to take part in one of several guided walks which will explore the local scenery, history and archaeology.
