Profile

Jane has been working at CCRI since 1998. Her main research interests focus on the social and economic aspects of agri-environmental policy, agricultural change and environmental management. She is particularly interested in understanding farmer behaviour and in researching collaborative institutional arrangements and knowledge exchange processes which effectively reconcile agricultural production and environmental quality objectives.

Jane is currently leading 2 Work Packages for European FP7 and H2020 projects:

Preventing and Remediating Degradation of Soils in Europe through Landcare (RECARE)

Soil Care for profitable and sustainable crop production in Europe (SOILCARE)

She is also involved with ‘Valorising European Research for Innovation in Agriculture and Forestry’ (VALERIE)
