Julie Ingram and Jane Mills were in Fuzhou, China, between 8th and 18th September, visiting Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and discussing potential research collaborations with the College of Landscape Architecture and the College of Economics (Rural Development)
Julie Ingram was at Ghent University in Belgium last week examining a PhD thesis entitled ‘Dynamics of participation and learning in sustainable farming initiatives: opening the black box’.
Julie Ingram is attending the Agridemo F2F project technical review on Monday 26th March in Brussels to represent the case study analysis Work Package which the CCRI leads. She will also be in Leuven on 28th March attending the supra-regional meeting for both Agridemo and the sister project PLAID to review the latest version of the FARMDEMO HUB with actors and stakeholders.
Julie Ingram has had a paper published in Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions with free access until 28th April 2018.
CCRI’s Julie Ingram has been invited onto the editorial board of the Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems journal new ‘Sustainable Intensification & Ecosystem Services’ section.
Julie Ingram and Rob Berry will be Cairo next week continuing CCRI’s collaboration with Research Institute for Sustainable Environment (RISE) at the American University Cairo (AUC), where they will be running workshops aimed to improve better water management for small holder farmers in Egypt.
Julie Ingram is in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the 4th Global Science Conference On Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), where she will be presenting a poster authored by herself and Emilio J González-Sánchez, who is from the University of Córdoba, Spain and Secretary General, European Conservation Agriculture Federation.
Julie is giving a presentation at a mini-symposium in Wageningen today, 4th October, entitled ‘Developing effective decision support for managing soil organic matter – stakeholder perspectives’, which is based on her research under the EU funded SmartSOil project.
