John Powell and Chris Short from the CCRI have travelled to Japan for the 14th Global Conference of the International Association for the Study of the Commons.
They have been providing us with regular updates about their activities, including lots of photos. This is of great interest, as here at the CCRI we hosted the conference four years ago. The opening ceremony we all thought looked incredibly impressive!
The location itself was also equally impressive. Whilst the Cotswolds are very beautiful, Mount Fuji is an iconic mountain!
John and Chris naturally had opportunities to experience the breathtaking scenery.
There were also new cultural experiences for them…
..and of course presentations to conduct…
But there was still some opportunity for ‘downtime’…
