Jane Mills is part of a CCRI research team working on a 5 year EU funded project to help prevent and remediate against soil degradation in Europe, called RECARE. Jane is representing the project at the European network on Soil Awareness (ENSA) conference at the Milan Expo, which is taking place on 21st – 22nd October.
The CCRI is one of 27 pan-European partners working on RECARE. The project is using an innovative transdisciplinary approach to actively integrate and advance knowledge of stakeholders and scientists in 17 Case Studies, covering a range of soil threats in different bio-physical and socio-economic environments across Europe.
In her role as the Work package leader for Dissemination and Communication for the RECARE project, Jane will be contributing to a workshop and world café at the event.
