Learning for Sustainable Futures New Project Awards 2015-16

Matt Reed and Chris Short, together with Kenny Lynch and Arran Stibbe of the University of Gloucestershire School of Natural and Social Sciences and School of Humanities, were successful in a bid to the University’s Learning for Sustainable Futures (LSF) scheme in the 2015-16 awards. The grant will be utilized for using Education for Sustainability (EfS) to inform the development of Masters Level Dissertations and cross-faculty research enhancement linked to sustainability.

The LSF scheme was launched in 2012 and has been recognised in the Green Gown Awards for its successful approach to supporting HE curriculum change and professional development. It is part of the University of Gloucestershire’s commitment to EfS in the Strategic Plan 2012-17 and the implementation of the Academic Strategy, supporting staff to integrate transformative learning for sustainability into student experiences and professional practice.
